In today's video, we'll be talking about the Equipment module, specifically, adding Fuel Rates and Reporting Fuel Costs.

After watching this video, you'll:

  • Learn how to track fuel consumption in the Equipment module

🧠 You Should Know:

The Fuel Rates tab displays fuel rates for branches. The time period during which a given fuel rate is used starts on the effective date and goes until the next effective date for that branch.

The Fuel Costs tab is a search list making an entry for each meter reading taken on a piece of equipment showing the associated fuel cost since the prior meter reading.

How Fuel Costs are Calculated

[Fuel Burn Rate X (New Meter Reading - Old Meter Reading)] = Total Fuel Burn

Total Fuel Burn X Branch's Fuel Rate = Total Fuel Cost of Asset
